Here comes goodbye...

I can't believe we're leaving Nairobi tonight, and boarding some jumbo jet to fly in the sky across countless miles of land and vast oceans. It's all a little (ok, A LOT) surreal. Jenny and I have had an eventful couple of days getting back to Nairobi (long story, but no worries - we arrived in one piece if not slightly less sane than when we left Kampala. hehe). We've both said our goodbyes to our respective projects, and are trying to adjust to the fact that we'll be back in the land of snow, organization and responsibility (oh, and did I mention safety? :D) in just over a day. Insane. There are a lot of thoughts running through our minds, the predominant one being disbelief that this trip is coming to a close. We've certainly learned a lot over these past few months. I'll probably sit down with paper and pen and write some reflective thoughts in the next few hours, but for now this is it, I'm afraid. Until later!
